About Farberware
The Farberware company can trace its roots back to the year 1900, when Mr S.W. Farber set up a shop in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. He started by creating various bowls and vases from sheets of copper and brass. He then began to introduce various lines of accessories and gifts with silver plated and chrome plated finishes.
The first Farberware percolator was introduced in 1930, and this started Farberware’s long history in small appliances that continues to this day. Mr Farber was a true innovator and soon after introduced a device which kept coffee warm for hours after brewing. He named this the coffee robot. He went on to create many other revolutionary appliances such as stainless steel electric frying pans with removable probes, and smokeless broilers.
To this day Farberware is known for quality and reliability as well as great value.

Farberware Coffee Pot
The term coffee pot can relate to many different items. In the strictest sense a coffee pot is the glass part into which an electric drip coffee maker will drip the finished coffee, which is often located on a baseplate to keep the coffee warm. More commonly the term coffee pot is used for an electric coffee percolator. In this design water is held in a boiling pot with a removable lid. The heated water is forced through a metal tube into the brew basket containing coffee whereupon the extracted liquid drips back into the pot. This process is repeated continuously until the water is sufficiently steeped in coffee.
Farberware coffee percolators are very popular, as are their electric drip coffee makers. Farberware coffee pots for home use are generally within the 2 to 8 cup size, although larger percolators offering 12 cups or more are not uncommon. If you have broken the glass coffee pot in your Farberware coffee maker you can buy replacement parts both online and at your local home appliance stores. You will find that there is a greater range of products and cheaper prices if you shop around online. Many people buy a spare glass coffee pot in case they either break the first one, or for larger gatherings can serve coffee from the first part whilst making coffee in the second.
So if you’re in the market for a new coffee pot, why not make it one of the excellent Farberware coffee pot models.
